how do i solve: 49.51cosx - 30sinx = 1.22625

Just use the relationship square of sinx plus square of cox equals 1.

did you try to solve it that way? you'd end up with some sort of (sinx)^2 - sinx + something and i don't know how to solve that by hand. it was suggested to me to use a trial and error method of solving this or just use some software
