bad green grumble, and no steps shown the first step for me her is just to check some simple numbers\[\pm1\pm2\dots\]and see if you get lucky
If you want to think about it you can use the rational root theorem (which tells you to check integers +/-1,2,3,4,12), but I just check without thinking sometimes :P
Turning test is trolling lol. This is to easy to basically show steps. When you have the answers subsitute them in the problem. So like 2 is one of the answers, subsitute x with 2 and do the work.
not really sure what you mean by that, just trying to explain the process... so yeah, plug in x=1 (it's not a zero) so then try x=2 (it is a zero) that tells you that (x-2) is a factor of your polynomial, so you can synthetically divide the polynomial by (x-2) and get a cubic|dw:1329681838055:dw|then repeat the process until you get a quadratic, which you can solve by a number of (hopefully known) methods.
