Vertex how many is possible, infiniti or to an extent?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

how many vertices does a circle have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

none

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I suppose, but if you approximate a circle with an n-sided polygon as you let the number of vertices approach infinity the shape should approach that of a perfect circle. Any line can be divided up infinitely many times. I don't see why we can't give it infinitely many vertices just the same.
