In my opinion, other countries and cultures have shaped the development of the United States in many ways such as diversity. It is known as the melting pot for obvious reasons and having so many different people call it their home makes it very unique. As for factual statements, other countries and cultures affect the United States economy greatly. In parts of trade, whether in labor or goods. The price in currency inflating or deflating in surrounding countries also affects America's currency due to the connection that lies between the nations.
