OpenStudy (aravindg):

4:(a)change in P.E. is -ve of work done (b)change in K.E. is equal to work done where are all these applicable ??Which of these is restricted statement?is the change mentiooned final- initial or opposite?when do we use these?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ITHILE ELLAM WORK DONE IS NET WORK sum of all work acting on a body

OpenStudy (aravindg):

xplain cheyu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only work done by conservative forces results in change in potential energy.. b)work done by all the forces is equal to change in kinetic energy of system(work energy theorem) kinetic energy theorem is applicable everywhere. whereas as i mentioned change in potential energy is only due to work done by conservative forces only..

OpenStudy (aravindg):

hmm..where do we consider internal forces ??where we cannot consider external forces?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

potential energy concept comes only for conservative forces right prakharj?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

internal forces epazhum cancel out ai kallayaum athondu nee adhu kurichu bother cheiyadhe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look internal forces cannot change net energy of any system, so we dont consider them in K.E theorem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, if any non conservative force like kinetic friction does work on anything, this work will not be stored in any form.. we can look at this in this way, consider it like when a force does some work on any system, it is actually putting or talking out some energy from it. when any non conservative force do work, its work does not stores as a potential energy of the system, however it can change its kinetic energy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by the way, which language you are talking in.. is it tamil??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is malayalam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I appreciataes your courage to use mother tongue in a discussion . You made all keralites proud
