OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area of any regular polygon is \( \frac 12 Pa \) where P is perimeter and a is the apothem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In this problem P= 72 cm and a =10.4 cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so multiply it all together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

374.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did something wrong?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I don't know much about pyramids, but I know about units and cmXcm does not give volume fool :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol that's only for the area of the base, then you have you use the volume formula or you could derive it yourself by integrating, Turing is the best place to ask for the derivation :P

OpenStudy (turingtest):

not! I think it can be done with an integral dA something...
