(Geometry) A 22-foot ladder is placed against a vertical wall, with the bottom of the ladder standing on level ground 17 feet from the base of the building. How high up the wall does the ladder reach?

its basic trig, draw a picture of a triangle, make it a right triangle because the information tells us theres a wall and a floor so 90'. Then the tall side that is straight make that facing up and down and that is x, then the bottom can be the floor, and that is 17 feet then the side that is angled is the ladder or 22 feet, then solve for x
