-Advantage; aids the immune systems antibodies to remove infection -Disadvantage; destroys natural bacterial flora that can lead to a secondary sequelae (infection after first infection) and lowering in certain vitamin production by beneficial bacteria. -Uses; Production of dairy products like yogurt through lactose fermentation & production of essential vitamins in the body and can also stop other harmful bacteria from colonizing the site -Precautions- complete the antibiotic does for the recommended time, dont stop early, to help reduce the selection of resistant strains, if you dont need antibiotics dont use them, good hygiene, when a child allow the immune system to build up a tolerance, dont be hyper clean and allow the thymus to produce the T-cells the child will need.
