So 1c = 6n
Since she is converting kuna into dollars I would say Kuna (n) is the independent and Dollars (c) is the dependant.  That would make 6n the expression.  Since that's not a choice, we suppose that the variables are reversed and we solve for n instead of c...
n=c/6

That is a terribly worded question.  And I actually disagree with the answere.  Since the number of dollars she gets "depends" on the number of kuna she has.  C should be the dependent var

wikipedia has a fairly good explanation dependent and independent variables. Maybe think of it as an input and output ( independent vars ) and something that changes them ( the dependent var )
