3.5, and vertex is (-3,-2). i need to make an equation from that. help mee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess like the ax value. idk. i think it has to be in y= a ( x-h)^2 +k formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so the general formula (?) is y=a(x-h)^2+k. the vertex is (h,k) or (-3, -2) and a is 3.5, so you would just plug in each thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmmm yea whats the 3.5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=(3.5x +3) -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if thats am ax value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

an

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we arent solving the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we are making an equation with the vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=(3.5x+3) -2 is more the sufficient i would think
