a light ray moves from air into lucite. lucite has a higher index of refraction. does the ray move toward or away from the normal?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refractive_index n = speed of light in a vacuum / speed of light in medium (lucite) If index of refraction is high, the speed of light in medium (lucite) will be low (speed of light in a vacuum is constant)
