Vectors/Physics problem :(( http://screensnapr.com/e/GmRQtY.png

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

D: Did a few people give up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2396.19 N and \[\tan^{-1} 6.51\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2368, the problem is very easy. cos 30*2000+ cos45*900

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do not let the negative angle trick you. Cos = adj/hypo. Therefore, the resultant angle equal to the sum of two adj together. This is a very basic vector problem

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

How did you get 2368?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

T1 = 2k <cos(60), sin(60)> T2 = .9k <cos(45),-sin(45)> T1 + T2 = resultant vector

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

And please explain the angle part?:(

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its better in a picture i think; the idea is that the resulting forces are the sin and cos of the given angles for each vector
