X-linked or sex-linked traits are expressed in males but not in females. TRUE OR FALSE?

OpenStudy (blues):

False. In the case that a male gets an X chromosome, he will express whatever alleles are on that single X whether they are dominant or recessive. By contrast, the females will only express the alleles on the X if they are dominant - but they still express them. There are traits like calico coat color in female cats (but never male cats) which are certainly X linked and which females certainly express. It depends on how the question is worded. That is my interpretation.
