Use a calculator to find the following. (Round the answer to four decimal places.) csc(671.33)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply type in 1/sin(671.33)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cosecant is the inverse of sine such that csc x=1/ sin x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried that, and it's wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, take sin of the number first, then 1 diveded by that answer are you using a scientific calculator with parethesis capabilities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is how it actually says it... csc(671deg20sec)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tried pressing enter at that point? see what you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Their answer is SO different!! I suppose I have it in the wrong format, huh? I have it in DEG mode. Should it be RAD?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try it and see if you get the same thing as the google answer. change it to rads and see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It came out to be the same thing, but it's still not right! :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is not right? how do you know it's not right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm doing homework online, and it marks it if you are right or wrong. I have not a clue why it's not right. It makes so much sense!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you rounding it off properly? the instructions said to round off to the nearest four places so : -1.2116 is your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I sure am!!! I did that same answer. I even tried the regular mode answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know what? This was the only one I have a problem with, so I'm just gonna skip it. Thank you so much, though!
