Which statement is correct about a trapezoid and a kite? A. A trapezoid and a kite have adjacent sides congruent. B. A trapezoid and a kite have a pair of opposite sides parallel. C. A trapezoid has at least one pair of parallel sides and a kite has no sides parallel. D. A trapezoid has opposite sides congruent and a kite has all four sides congruent.

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

A is untrue. B is untrue for kites. C is true, though I do not agree with the statement "at least one pair" because a Trapezoid can only have one pair of parallel sides to be, by definition, a trapezoid. The latter is true, however. D is untrue. C would be the most correct.
