Determine the slope and y-intercept of the line 3x - 5y = 15.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first subtract 3x from both sides so you're left with y on one side and x on the other. you get 5y=-3x+15. then divide 5 from both sides to get y by itself. you get y=-3/5x+3 the slope is -3//5 the y-intercept is 3
