i have conduct an experiment to determine is the value of current in series circuit are the same,i also find out the partial voltage at the test point given.the problem is when i calculate the percentage error for the voltage,i got the negative value.what should i say about this in the discussion.some one please help me?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

aathera the the ohm's law is not valid at all conditions. Due to thermal effects of the current in the wire , there is change in temp of the conductors which makes the linear relation between current and voltage somewhat non- linear, leading to a decrease in measured voltage. That's why you got a negative error

thanks :)
