no its all typed like a fraction 1/x=9/x-1/11

1,9,1 are the numerators and x,x,11 are the denominators

multiply everything by x so x would go up in the numerator... so you have 1 = 9 - x/11 x/11 = 9-1 x/11 = 8 x = 88 by cross multiplication
