How do I do this? Solve each system by graphing. y = -4x, y = - x + 6.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The y intercept of y=-4x is 0. Mark that on your graph. The slope is -4 or -4/1 So from the point you just marked, go down 4 and right 1. Mark the point and draw the line.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

For y = -x+6, the y intercept is 6. Mark 6 on the y axis. The slope is -1 or -1/1 so from the point you just marked, go down 1 and right 1. Draw the line.
