One angle measure in an acute triangle is 38°. What could the measure of one of the other angles be? 69° 95° 50° 27° Arent all these possible?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope 95 cant be coz acute angles have angles less than 90

OpenStudy (ragingsquirrel):

So all other 3 are possible?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh i guess so..i mean it has to be....

OpenStudy (ash2326):

sum of all the angles in a triangle= 180 degrees It's given each angle is an acute angle so <90 degrees now one is 38 the sum of other two would be 142 now here 27 is not possible because then the third angle, would be 115 degrees( which is obtuse)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

69 and 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oopsie, i'm so sry i ddnt see the 38 part. i just saw as if u were asking whether any of those angles can be an angle in an acute triangle. i'm so so sorry!!!!!!

OpenStudy (ragingsquirrel):

Its fine. You got one right
