Hello, does anybody can help me...I can not understand what is the different between Net assets and total shareholdings of equity for financial institution? And how i can calculate it?

As far as I know: Net assets are Total assets less any Non-interest bearing liability (such as Accounts payable for example). Shareholders' equity is Total assets less Total Liabilities (in Balance sheet under Total shareholders' equity).
