Which contains an error in logic as word? A.Next year, free admission to the event for children under 10 will be abolished B.Next year, children under 10 will have to pay for the event instead of getting in free. C.Next year, children under 10, who now get in to the event free, will be abolished. D.Next year, children under 10 will no longer get in free to the event
Read them aloud, and think about *what* is getting abolished. Here's a tip: if there are too many commas, just get rid of stuff between them. For instance: "John's wife, a beautiful woman of 35 years with a usually kind disposition, had become rather drunk." If you take out the clause in the middle between the commas, "John's wife had become rather drunk." Look for this kind of symmetry when you need to discover where the object, subject, and verb are.
