The moment magnitude of an earthquake depends on all of the following except __. 1.the area of the fault break 2.the rigidity of the fault 3.the slip on the fault 4.the type of faulting the answer is 4 but i have no idea?

I think it is because even the fault is of a different type, the seismic waves will still travel as they normally do :P
