OpenStudy (anonymous):

75-30 = 45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much! You are such a help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) welcome, do you have any more questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! Just one though..Will you help me? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, please!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks!, okay.. Does the box plot have any outliers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

General convention of having outlier - must be Median (+ -) * IQR Here Median = 50, IQR = 60-45 = 15, hence, it has to be either below 50 - 45 = 5 or above 50+ 45 = 95, there is no such data, Hence, NO outlier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, actually it should read Median (+-) 3*IQR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow! You're really good at this stuff! Haha. Thank you! I actually have another question.. If you don't mind:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) No I dont

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great! Hold on(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the histogram, which interval includes the median of the data? A. 0 to 1.9 B. 2 to 3.9 C. 4 to 5.9 D. 6 to 7.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ans C 4-5.9, as the median should be 4.5th Data, First gr has 0 freq hence Cumulative freq = 0, second gr, cumulative fr = 3 + 0 = 3, and 3rd group CF = 0+3+2 = 5 > 4.5, hence, 4,5th data is in this group

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooh. So it's C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Duh it's c.. lol sorry for my retartedness...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, again for all your help! You rock! :D
