What system of inequalities is represented by the graph? (Image Attached)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y < 2x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's not one of the choices.. The choices are: y > -2 and y > 2x + 1 y > -2 and y < 2x + 1 y < -2 and y < 2x + 1 y < -2 and y > 2x + 1

OpenStudy (kainui):

First off, what are the slopes of the lines? Slope is m, which is rise over run. B is just the y-intercept at x=0.

Ans B

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

y<2x+1 is the answer and I think that all choices are weird because there's no limit for y...you can't say that y>-2 or y<-2 because you don't see that on the graph...y can take any value of the shaded area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you see there is a diffrent shade above line y = -2

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

haha you're right...I didn't see that detail...then your answer is correct....sorry :D
