33 - 18

Alright, so what do u think is the minimum common factor of it?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Or to make it easy, can u list the factors of 33 and 18?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do i can do it after that

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Cancel the same term.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what term

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Can u list the factors?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk i will try 33: 1, 3, 11, 33

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

i willl brb hold on asec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Ok, so: 18: 3 * 3 * 2 33: 3 * 11 so now, \[\frac{18}{33} \to \frac{3 \times 3 \times 2}{ 3 \times 11}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you your the best! :)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Now as i was saying about cancelling terms, \[\frac{\cancel 3 \times 3 \times 2}{ \cancel 3 \times 11}\to \frac{3 \times 2}{11} \to \frac{6}{11}\]

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Welcome! :)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
