i got -2, can you help me with my most recent one? :) please im so confused....

solve \[4u+9=4u +7\] which clearly has no solution and then solve \[4u+9=-4u-7\] \[8u+9=-7\] \[8u=-16\] \[u=-2\] is the only solution
