I'm writing a summary of a psychology research article and i was just wondering what the rules are with in text citations ( for APA) in a summary. Most of my sentences are based on findings from the article. I would just like to know if i should be including an in text citation after every sentence based on a finding from the article, because that will end up being most of the sentences.

Place citations after any directly quoted material. Otherwise if a paragraph largely consists of information from the source, place the citations at the end of the paragraph. You do no need to place a citation at the end of every relevant sentence. When using more than one source and you have a paragraph that consists of information from those sources, place a citation whenever the information switches sources. For example, if you have 3 sentences from source A, 1 sentence from source b, and three more sentences from source A. Place a citations for source A after the third sentence, a citation for source B after the fourth sentence, and a citation for source A at the end of the paragraph.
