"Appreciate" should be "appreciated"

The second paragraph seems a little awkward. How about "After reflecting on our discussion today, I have chosen to cancel my upcoming meeting with Mr. on Monday. I realized that I wish to take a professional path contrary to what I expressed today. I regret taking up your time and thank you for meeting with me while I determine the best way for me to move forward in the job market."
