If not, use complete sentences to explain how to write the polynomial in standard form. 1. 3a3b – 4ab2 + a2 2. –8x2y2 + 10xy4 – 6x2y You need to rearrange the terms so that they are organized from largest degree to the smallest degree and the variables have to be in alphabetical order: 3a^3b - 4ab^2 + a^2 = 3a^3b + a^2 - 4ab^2 -8x^2y^2 + 10xy^4 - 6x^2y = -8x^2y^2 - 6x^2y + 10xy^4 Does this make sense?
