what level of knowledge would you say is needed for the opencourseware mathematics stuff... i only studied maths upto age 16 in the uk system but i find maths fairly easy to grasp

I'd like to add that one shouldn't go into math thinking, "I find this stuff easy to grasp." I'd wager that even the greatest genius ever to live wouldn't be able to get past high level college math without practice, practice, practice. Not as much as the rest of us, maybe, but still practice. That said, college math (introductory) should be more or less accessible to everyone with a basic grasp on algebra and geometry. Past introductory, it's really only accessible to those who are absolutely familiar with the basic college sequences.
