I'm taking a test this Sunday and I really want to know how you would decipher whether a problem is 1 Dimensional or 2 Dimensional? The problems give pretty much the same things it seems before angles get introduced it seems impossible

The best generic advice I can give is to ask yourself: what's the minimum number of dimensions in which this question makes sense? If you can make it work in 1-dimension, then it probably is 1 dimensional. If you can't make it work in 1 dimension, then it certainly isn't.
