The Book of Hours, printed in 1525, introduced type design free from (dependence, dependents) on handwriting. Pick one from parenthesis. Explain please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dependence. It is because it is more applicable than dependents which would more better be suited in another context.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dependence - the state of depending on or requiring something. Dependents - people who rely, either actually or legally, on someone else for support, esp. financial.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope, handwriting=not some person who depends :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vengeance has it - we're talking a thing which depends; not people.

I'm in college, 1st year. Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Grad school, 2nd year. ^And why? Lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Party-Lol okay whatever that means :) how about you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah but we guarantee you won't have it wrong this time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you think that someone may be wrong, double check what they tell you. Also, you can check our profiles for clues as to what grade level we are ;)

Well thing is, I don't answer a question unless I am sure it is correct.

Nice to know/meet you. Welcome to OpenStudy.

Dependents = people who rely on something Dependance = To rely on In this context dependance is the correct answer. Type design does not rely on handwriting.
