Sara drives a total of 64 1/2 miles to work and back. Her car gets 21 1/2 miles per gallon (mpg) of gas. If gas is $5 per gallon, how much does it cost her to commute to and from work each day?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

64.5miles/21.5mpg = 3 gallons of gas 3 gallons * $5 = $15

This is what my work comes up with once you make the mixed number into fractions, 129/2 divided by 43/2 then 192/2 times 2/43 I come up with 129/43
