if anyone has any books to recommend for students preparing IIT post here pls!i hope it would help the group members
If u r doing any regular course in any coaching institute, then that's more than enough. Like FIITJEE, Resonance, Bansal, Catalyzer, etc......... Else u can enroll for Distance Learning Course also.
for physics: CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS- H C VERMA FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS-HALLIDAY, RESNICK, WALKER
For chemistry go for morrison boyd, atkins, and j.d lee for organic, physical and inorganic respectively..
bt yahad i feel theat morrison boyd is a fat book and the content is more detailed than needed...i maybe wrong though... i hav the book but i dont find it much useful for prerparing for IIT .any suggestions?
If you are doing a foundation course, then there ain't any alternative to Morrison boyd.(An IIT aspirant should have basics cleared)...Suppose u opt for a crash course, which supposedly means you have got the basics, then there is no need to go through this FAT book. You can go through arihant series for the same..
