If cow have protozoa and microorganism in their stomach to digest cellulose from plants,why is they don't constipate as the fibre to reabsorb water in their colon had been digested?

yeah...the function of fibre is to retain the water content in the colon to make the movement of stool smooth so we don't constipate,right? so,what about ruminants?they digest fibre.so,what did they use to avoid constipation if it is not fibre?
