I'd say move the forth thesis to the first and bump everything down one spot, so:
origin of the word pride
emotion of pride and how it alters other emotions
positive effects of pride
negative effect of pride

The reason why I say this is because the first question that readers would ask is: "What is pride?" The forth thesis answers that question.
