It is a very large number you multiply 25 times itself 25,000 times.

I can not figure out why a reasonable teacher would have anyone waste paper writing down all those digits!

Maybe you're into logarithms. Try 25,000 times the log of 25, and take the antilog of the results.

This looks like it could be a "tower of powers" problem to me. It would be great if we had the complete instructions for the problem.
