So if you have 6 connect objects(by strings),

Far left M1, M2 hanging over an edge, M3 at the bottom, M4 hanging at the same level as M2, M5 on right same level as M1, and M6 hanging

Does M2g and M4g cancel out?

Case two:

If you had 3 connected objects by string M1 hanging the next, M2,inclined at 36 degrees above M1 and another, M3, hanging at the top of the incline. How would you set up the forces for each? I'm confused what to do with the m2gsin(theta)
