pls help me factor : 18x^2-57x+35 I cant find a common factor here

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

\[18^2 - 57x + 35 = (3x-7)(6x-5)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3x-7)(6x-5) trial and error method with factors of 18--> 1,18;2,9;3,6 and 35--> 5,7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

split the middle term as -42x-15x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now just take common terms and u will get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok will try solving it by splitting the middle term, never thought of doing that thx
