PS11: pylab problems

anyone else having problems getting pylab to graph? pylab is creating an object when I call the plot method but it's not opening a graph.

Here are my software specifications:
Python 2.7.2 32 bit
wxPython2.8 (for Python 2.7 32 bit)
matplotlib1.6.0 (for Python 2.7 32 bit)
numpy 1.6.1 (for Python 2.7 32 bit).

these add-on libraries are a real headache. I had to un-install the 64 bit python 2.5.2 I had used through PS9 because there's no 64 bit numpy add on for python 2.5.

I'd add, once I was able to get a graph by calling pylab.show() ... but now that's not working either.
