I need ideas for my History of Engineering Paper..You will have to submit a 7 page research paper (that means 7 pages of text). The paper is a research paper on the history of a technology or specific aspect of engineering.. Your paper ought to define the technology/engineering and also give its rich historical significance placing it into a broader context. To do this well you are required to consult no fewer than four sources outside the assigned class materials. Any ideas???

There would be lots of stuff on the Eiffel Tower...but that would be kinda boring, to me anyway. Train Bridges actually have an interesting learning curve. The evolution of the steam engine had lots of significance. You like telescopes don't ya? They are big and some of them are in space. One word: plastics another word rockets... The Manhattan Project - whoa talk about technology and engineering. The mind it boggles... Do you have a particular engineering interest? Keeping yourself entertained during one of these papers can be the hardest part.

I just looked up train bridges and those look pretty cool. I don't really have a particular engineering interest, I was just trying to think of something that I could write 7 pages on and have it be interesting/informative..It's hard! haha

Agree. The wide open ones are sometimes the hardest. good luck and if you go with trains...crash pictures, some of em are crazy

I will make sure to look at those! Thank you for the suggestions :) By chance, will you be on here tomorrow? I would like someone to read paper and get some opinions.

no promises...tonight I am procrastinating studying for a circuits exam. hehe but people seem to have pretty good luck getting editing advice in the writing group.

haha good luck on that! Yeah I hope someone will be here tomorrow to look at it! Thanks again
