I have a list of X websites, and i need to search them all at once, what is the best way to do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm...... if you have them bookmarked?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, any list, say picked randomly from a blog.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

What do you mean by searching them all at once?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Say i need to search a book by the author Walter Lewin, i know 10 websites where the book might be listed, but i dont want to search each of them separately, so is there any way to send my query directly to all of them at once and view the results?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can you the <searchterms> site:<website name> option to restrict a google search to a single website, but it does not seem to work with multiple sites specified.

There has to be any way, if not already there, i want to write it. I will just need the framework and loads of help.

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

That's actually not a half bad idea.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Write it! :)

I wish i were a magician programmer, still want to find first if anything like that exists. Because i have no idea what will make that work.
