Let R be the region in the xy-plane between y=e^x and y=e^-x from x=0 and x=2 Find the volume of the solid generated when R is revolved about the x axis please help >.<

Do you still need help with this?

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

What you would need to do is set up an integral describing the area between the two curves, from 0 to 2, and use it as the radius of an infinite amount of circles. Your integral set up should look like this:\[V=2 \pi \cdot \int\limits_0^2 { e^x}-{e^{-x}} dx \]From here, you should be able to evaluate it on your own.

Is this an FRQ for AB calculus?
