What is your favorite vim color scheme?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

I was a fan of vividchalk for a while. Currently I'm playing with the solarized themes throughout my consoles and editors ( http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized ).

It says if you use vim through terminal (not in gui like gvim) you also need to change terminal colours, but in downloaded zip file folder "terminal-emulators" is empty so what to do?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

What terminal do you use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

GNOME Terminal 2.30.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as for me, I like the 'blue' colorscheme

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you use vim through the cli and you want the prettier colors then you have to modify your vimrc and add something like set t_Co=256

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is cli?

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

cli = Command Line Interface

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Here's something that could help: https://github.com/sigurdga/gnome-terminal-colors-solarized

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

@agdgdgdgdgwngo: I use blue too. :)
