How does protein convert into fat?

I assume you're meaning Adipose Tissue types (there are two). Basically fat's are lipids which are comprised of proteins... fat is used to store energy chemically for later use by cell(s) The exact biochemistry, I don't remember... but this might help. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adipose_tissue#In_humans
