Lines A and B form a linear system. Line A has a slope of 2 and a y-intercept of (0, 6). Line B has a slope of 4 and a y-intercept of (0, 2). How are these lines characterized? A. Parallel B. Intersecting C. Coincidental C Not enough information

The lines obviously are not parallel; that would suggest that there are no solutions for x such that A=B. In any case, the slopes don't match. And I'm not sure what it means for the two to be coincidental; that seems too qualitative and arbitrary. We are, in fact, given enough information to say that they intersect, by virtue of being nonparallel lines.
