I have a question regarding MLA format. If I am including a quote from a personal interview in an essay, what is the correct IN-TEXT citation format to use? Do I have to include the interviewer's name or a date? example: I hypothetically interviewed the Queen of England. Is the following in-text citation correct? The Queen of England says that "she cares for the people of England" (Smith, Feb 20, 2012).

I am not completely versed in MLA. I'm an APA guy. In APA it would be (First L., Date, personal communication). I suspect it's similar in MLA, but I can't be sure. Check: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/
