Ive been working so hard all night to try and understand this one! Please draw the graph and explain Trig function: Cot(x+pi/4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you gotta draw the graph of cotx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please graph it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know where the asymptotes are supposed to be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how to graph it, I am sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to do it by hand.... :( this is the death of me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm you don't need to be super accurate, just plot it roughly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please just show me :) thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is the graph

hero (hero):

He meant to mention that he doesn't need the graph of it. He needs to know "how" to graph it. You know...like without a calculator and he needs to know how to find the asymptote and plot individual points on the graph. Uploading a graph isn't exactly what he's looking for because he can just using a graphing calculator for that. He's trying to learn how to graph it by hand on graph paper.

I see, good luck, I have a calculator, but Im not sure how to do it eather.

hero (hero):

lol
