1) Find the highest point in the trajectory . 2) What is the range of the projectile? 3) Find the angle above the horizontal at which the projectile should be fired 4) What is the initial speed? - See attachment for the graph with the info

sam (.sam.):

First resolve components for initial velocity, \[v _{ix} = v _{0}\cos \theta\] \[v _{iy}=v _{0}\sin \theta\] At highest point in the trajectory, \[v _{fy}=0\] Use equation \[v _{fy}^{2}=v _{iy}^{2}+2as\] \[0=v _{iy}+2gs\] \[s=-v _{iy}/2g\] \[s=-(v _{0}\sin \theta)/2g\]

sam (.sam.):

2) \[v _{x}=R/t\] \[R=v _{x}t\]

sam (.sam.):

3) \[\tan \theta=(v _{fy})/(v _{fx})\]

sam (.sam.):

4) Use any one equation, \[v _{iy}=v _{0}\sin \theta\] \[v _{ix}=v _{0}\cos \theta\]
